Practitioner Profile
Dr Daniel Cabai - Osteopath
Dr Daniel Cabai (Osteopath) was first introduced to Osteopathy as a teenager. He was one of those kids that were always hurting themselves, especially on the basketball court. Despite the Osteopath’s best interests, Daniel missed his calling as a professional basketballer but channeled his energy into learning about the human body.
Wanting to expand his knowledge in the human body, he enrolled in Osteopathy. Over the course of the new five years, his love of the profession grew and entered an internship in his final year of university. He graduated from Victoria University in 2016 and worked for several years at a clinic, learning to manage a range of different conditions and different age groups.
During his time at the clinic, he became a Senior Osteopath and began mentoring the new graduates. He was then promoted to a Supervising Clinician, which entailed supporting the younger staff members around him.
He then decided to venture out on his own and started his own business DC Osteo, with the hope of growing his business and giving back to the community of Diggers Rest. He hopes to further mentor young graduates and help them with their transition into private practice.
Daniel enjoys working with patients of all ages from children to older adults and assisting them in learning more about their condition, so they can best recover from their condition. He also utilizes his interest in strength-based exercises in the gym and Clinical Pilates to help get his patients actively involved in their management plan. This enhances his patient’s recovery, helps prevent aggravations and decrease the risk of further injury.
